David joined Advisors Financial in 2019 as a paraplanner before transitioning into his current role as a lead Financial Planner. David is detail-oriented and analytical, and has been a steady, empathetic advisor for his clients. As someone who likes to make the most of any situation, he finds financial planning a good fit for his skills and outlook on life. His goal is to help clients solve financial planning challenges and create a plan that makes the most of their individual circumstances.
Prior to joining AFI, David assisted small businesses with regulatory requirements related to the design and administration of 401(k) plans and other qualified retirement plans.
David’s most rewarding moments happen when he helps his clients use the tools at their disposal to achieve their goals more efficiently: “It is helpful to have good tools, but it is essential that the tools are used in the right way."
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington College, where he majored in Economics and minored in Accounting & Finance. He completed the financial planning program at George Mason University in 2020. David received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2021.
